How to work with me
(in 5-steps)
FOR SOCIAL GOOD
🌿
FOR SOCIAL GOOD 🌿
Step #1
You Have an idea that’s good for the world
First, you need an idea. I work exclusively on projects that in some way contribute to Social Good. Admittedly, I don’t always have an exact measure for that. But generally speaking, if your idea or project aims to do more than “make money,” it’s likely okay with me. So on to step #2!

Step #2
Email me at marcusvillagranmultimedia@gmail.com
Send me a blurb about your project idea. Include as many details as you have such as your budget, ideal timeline, and examples of what you’re looking for.
I’ll respond within a couple days and set up a call with you to meet you and iron out any lingering questions. Then we move to step #3!
Email Me! Let’s talk.

Step #3
a shared understanding
We’ve met and really hit it off! From our initial comms we have an idea of budget, timeline and deliverables. Now let’s put pen to paper. I’ll draft a Scope of Work that you will review and sign. We’ll have a shared understanding of what we’re trying to accomplish. Things don’t always go according to plan, but it’s okay because we have contingencies in place for that too. Let’s get to work!

Step #4
I’m powering my gear, recording awesome stuff, interviewing some peeps, and putting it all together in the edit. There’s stock footage, color correction, music, graphics, text, transitions, special effects, etc. This is where I get to truly shine. Once it’s hot and ready, I take it out of the oven, garnish it a bit and send it over to you for the final step…

Step #5
Mission complete
When you receive the first cut of a project, you’ll have as many rounds of feedback necessary until we get things right. There’s a spreadsheet I use to organize the latest cuts and your feedback. V1, V2, V3, etc., until you and your team sign off on the coveted “FINAL” cut. Ooooo-aaaah! Have a look at a “FINAL” below.
